Upon making these cookies, I found creating cookie recipes to be fun and easy.
Here's the recipe I came up with:
Want to make some yourself to find out how good they are?
You'll need:
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. natural peanut butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. brown sugar
1-1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. oats
1 c. chocolate chips
Mix butter, peanut butter, eggs, vanilla and sugar.
Add flour, baking soda, and salt and mix.
Add oats and chocolate chips and mix.
Spoon teaspoons full onto baking sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Eat.
P.S. I realize I didn't use the healthy substitutes which I mentioned in my Healthy Tuesday post
as I didn't have them on hand. I still did my best to make them healthy-ish, however.
Thanks Becca for visiting and introducing me to your blog! It's SOOO cute!
